Root Vegetable Soup

Makes about 6 serves

Ingredients :

2 bunches spring onion tops Small sweet potato 2 medium potatoes 2 parsnips 2 carrots 3 massel 7 chicken stock cubes 1 tsp hing powder 1 tsp cumin powder 2 tsp garam masala 1.25 L water Tin of lentils well rinsed


Method: Peel and chop all the root vegetables Chop green onions tops into bowl Add root vegetables Add crumbled stock cubes and spices Add water

Cook, 25 mins, 100 degrees, speed 2 Add lentils Cook 5 mins, speed 2

Blend smooth, 20 secs, speed 5.5

Serve with 2 tsps lactose free Yoghurt per serve
