I have tried to use my thermomix for slow cooking but it just doesn't work for me. I've tried both the slow cook setting and with a blade cover on reverse, my meat and vegetables always end up shredded and I like a chunky stew.
So here is my recipe, but all I use my thermi for was chopping the rosemary and spring onion tops. If you have any tips, let me know!
Substitute what ever veggies you have on hand, potatoes are also good in this.
Ingredients:
1 head broccoli
150 g baby king oyster mushrooms
4 Bay Leaves
1 ltr, Water
2 tbsp, Rosemary, fresh
5 rashers, Bacon Rashers or Han
4 cup 128g, Carrots Chopped
2 tbsp(s), Sauce, worcestershire
2 tbsp, Tomato Paste
1 swede
6 cube, Beef Stock Cubes, crumbles
500 g, beef steak
1/4 cup or 80 mls, Red Wine
1 tbsp, garlic & onion Olive Oil
Method:
Chop up and put everything in a slow cooker
Set on high and leave for 4-6 hours
