Getting in touch with my Dutch half and because someone asked for this a while ago.
Serves 4
Ingredients
Tops of 2 spring onions
Handful garlic chives
2 sliced carrots
1/2 white cabbage sliced
1/2 yellow capsicum sliced
1/2 red capsicum sliced
400-500 g chicken
1 cup rice
1L water
1 tbsp garlic infused oil
2 tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp Brown sugar
2 tsp fish sauce
1-2 tsp sambal oelek (spicy)
4 eggs
Method
Put chives and spring onions in the bowl
Chop 5 secs speed 4
Remove and set aside
Fill bowl with 1 L water
Place rice in basket in the bowl
Put carrots, cabbage and capsicum into the thermometer and place on top of the lid on the bowl
Cook 20 mins speed 4
Place oil, onion, chives and chopped chicken into a frypan and cook.
Mix soya sauce, sugar, fish sauce and sambal oelek into a bowl and mix into a paste
Once the veggies and rice are cooked Place them in the frypan with the chicken mix
Add the paste
Cook until well mixed and warmed through.
Put into thermoserver
Fry the eggs.
Serve rice mix topped with a fried egg.
